Windsurfing: Pevensey Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: 5-6 Surf / Sea State: rough Air Temperature: warm(ish) Sea Temperature: OK Weather: sunny(ish) Max Speed: Distance Covered:
low tide, lots of people and what looked like clean 4.7m weather. Port
tack though, so I knew my sailing was going to be crud. Added to that, I
was completely phsyched out by the influx of vans that had travelled over
from beaches that don't like easterlies.
Rigged my 4.5 and was powered most of the time, but could have done with a
bit more, particularly in the white water. Big rip dragging you down wind,
but not a problem due as planing most of the time. A little bit of
backside riding which was fun and some great jumping off the backs of waves
(starboard). Got slightly more comfortable being airborne on port, but
nothing that could have counted as a credible jump - either straight legged
or nose diving/wiping out. Good seesion, good conditions, just not good
performance
